Figma to PowerPoint
Export your frames as a real .pptx — editable text boxes, shapes, colours and
positions, not a stack of screenshots. And a plain-language report of everything that could not survive
the trip, so nothing breaks in front of a client.
Free to install and try: 5 slides at a time, 5 exports a month.
What you actually get
Text that stays text
Every text layer becomes a PowerPoint text box with its own font, size, weight, colour, alignment and line spacing. Your client can fix a typo without coming back to you.
A report of what was lost
The part nobody else gives you. After each export the plugin lists exactly which layers became pictures and why, and which fonts will be missing on someone else's machine.
Fonts travel with the file
For PowerPoint the plugin embeds the font files into the deck itself, so the slides look right on a computer that has never seen your typeface.
Three ways to build it
PowerPoint, Google Slides with editable text, or Google Slides as flat pictures that look identical to Figma everywhere. Same file format, three different trade-offs.
Complex graphics handled
Vectors, masks, blurs and blend modes have no PowerPoint equivalent, so they are rendered as sharp images automatically — and each one is named in the report.
Slide order you control
Frames are numbered before you export, and can be ordered row by row or column by column, so a canvas laid out as a grid reads the way you drew it.

FAQ
How do I install it?
The plugin is published in the Figma Community, free to install. Open a page with your frames, run the plugin and export — it works within the free limits straight away. A licence key removes the limits: paste it into the Licence field at the bottom of the plugin window, once.
Is my design uploaded anywhere?
No. The frames are read and the .pptx is assembled inside the plugin window on your own
machine, and the file is saved straight to your downloads. Our server only sees your Figma user id and
display name, the number of slides and bytes, and the names of fonts that may be missing elsewhere —
never your layers, text, images or file names. See the privacy policy.
What does "editable" really mean here?
Text, rectangles, ellipses, lines, colours, strokes, corner radii, opacity and position all become native PowerPoint objects you can select and change. Things PowerPoint has no concept of — vector paths, masks, blurs, blend modes, gradient strokes — are rendered as images instead. The plugin tells you which layers those were, every time, so there are no surprises.
Will the fonts be right?
For PowerPoint the plugin embeds the font files into the deck, so it travels. Where a font cannot be embedded it is matched to the closest one available and listed in the report, so you can install the real font or set a replacement rule and export again. For Google Slides the plugin checks your fonts against the fonts Slides actually has, because Slides discards embedded fonts.
Can I open the file in Google Slides or Keynote?
Yes — both read .pptx directly. There are two Google Slides formats in the plugin because
Slides renders a few things its own way: one keeps the text editable, the other makes each slide a single
picture that looks pixel-identical to Figma anywhere. Upload the file to Drive, then right-click it and
choose Open with → Google Slides; clicking it opens a preview, which is not the same thing.
Does the plugin upload to Google Drive for me?
No, deliberately. That would mean asking for access to your Google account. The file downloads to your computer and you put it where you want it.
Does it work on the free Figma plan?
Yes. The plugin works in any Figma design file you can edit, on a free or paid Figma plan, in the desktop app and in the browser.
Can I use one licence on two computers?
A licence is tied to your Figma account, not to a computer. Sign in to Figma anywhere and the plugin is unlocked. A Team key holds five accounts, and seats can be reassigned — write to us and we free one up.
What happens when the licence runs out?
Nothing you already exported changes. The plugin goes back to the free limits, and you can renew at any time. There is no auto-renewal and no card kept on file.
Does it support Figma Slides?
Not yet — today it works in Figma design files. Figma Slides support is the next thing we are building. If you want it, tell us and we will let you know when it ships.
